Community Group Sessions
Wildlife and Wellbeing run sessions tailored to meet the needs of groups in and around Salisbury. We create and deliver focused projects and bespoke sessions for community, vulnerable and marginalised groups.
Since we started working in Salisbury in 2024 we have worked with: Salisbury Shopmobility, group struggling with addiction, LGBT+ group, parent and toddler group, youth groups and more…
We help people learn more about nature on their doorstep. We do this in a variety of ways from children’s activity days to guided walks, bushcraft activities to nature-based meditation.
Our sessions teach participants new skills, which can include mindfulness, ecological understanding, bushcraft and nature-based crafts. Sessions are always led by our knowledgeable and experienced facilitators – see below.

Cost
Sessions cost from £50 per hour. We have some funding available to offer discounted or free sessions to groups. Get in touch to find out more.
Our Facilitators

Charley Miller
Charley has over a decade of experience running wildlife connection events and is a qualified mindfulness teacher. Charley will help you see greenspaces in a different way, from tuning into birdsong to taking notice of trees, butterflies and moths. She works with all ages – teaching birdsong and mindfulness courses to adults and running activity days for children.

Polly Whyte
Polly has been working in nature engagement since 2008. Drawing on her knowledge of ecology, Forest School leadership skills and understanding of the nervous system, she creates welcoming opportunities for people to slow down, connect with the natural world and support their wellbeing.
A skilled natural crafter, Polly often incorporates mindful whittling and willow weaving into her sessions, offering a creative way to be present and connect with nature. She has also run outdoor sessions for toddlers and primary aged children for many years.
